Meh, I don't really see a fit with Bergenheim on the Bruins. He wouldn't be an upgrade over their top 9 wingers, and they're looking for someone to step in to a top 6 role.
To be honest I would love to see the Bruins dump Chara, Lucic, Loui and any pending UFA they have and start stockpiling picks and prospects. |

Cody is not part of the rebuild.... well technically he is as Leafs can use the pick coming back as part..so why now are they trying to re-sign him |

Yak isn't getting moved.
And why on earth would Arizona trade Yandle for UFA Franson? Makes zero sense. Yandle is far better and still signed for less than Franson is asking. - ghostofRC
Cause Arizona wants to get worse... |

If its Yandle going the other way as he suggests there will be more going the other way not picks coming back. |

Jagr ... keep an eye on Florida. Anytime you say this, it means the opposite. I guess the eye is off of Pittsburgh. For the previous three deadlines, it was keep an eye on Hemsky and Pittsburgh. I lost focus long ago. |

I highly doubt Edm would give up the chance to get McDavid or Eichle. |

It really does not make any sense.. Leafs are not in a position to trade for Yandle.. They need the picks/prospects more than Arizona does right now. |

First on Yandle, I agree. He ain't being moved for a pending UFA. Makes no sense.
I agree on Yak staying put too. Edmonton's GMs have yet to make a ballsy move when it comes to the big names on the roster. It's all just talk. Until otherwise, its status quo. Besides, they spent a number 1 overall pick on him not too long ago. The last thing they want to do is admit failure; trade him for 20 cents on the dollar because his value isn't high and shouldn't be perceived as high either regardless of the potential.

Didn't one of McKenzie or Dregger (can't remember which one) recently say they haven't heard of the habs showing serious interest in Yakupov? I'm inclined to believe either of those guys than you. Also McKenzie said MB is looking to make a hockey deal and get a player with term left on his contract, and Yak's contract expires this year. Also just don't want to see that floater in Montreal, would much rather prefer Eberle. |
